Working notes
- Add diluent down the vial wall rather than directly onto the cake — long chains foam and shear easily.
- Swirl until dissolved. Vortexing a 40-residue peptide is a reliable way to lose purity you paid for.
- The figures assume the full label claim dissolved into the stated volume. Use the net-content percentage on your lot certificate if you need the measured value instead.
- Aliquot into single-use fractions rather than re-piercing one vial across a study.
