Our story

Progress grows from precision

AVYN Research designs high-purity research compounds to empower discoveries. We work with institutional scientists who demand reproducible data, rigid sourcing standards and transparent documentation — the kind of buyer who reads a certificate before reading a price.

The problem we set out to solve is narrow and specific. The research-compound market is full of purity claims and short of published evidence. A supplier prints 99% on a product page, and the number is attached to nothing: no method, no wavelength, no fill weight, no lot. When an experiment drifts, there is no way to tell whether the variable was the biology or the vial.

So AVYN publishes the release data first and sells second. Every lot carries an independent certificate reporting six checks and the method conditions used to obtain them. The lot number on the label opens that certificate in one step, and the certificate stays up long after the material has sold through.

Vision

Make high-quality amino acid and peptide research material accessible and dependable. Clean formulations and validated processes are not a premium tier — they are the baseline a laboratory should be able to assume.

Mission

Deliver compounds researchers can trust: verified purity, accurate composition, and batch-to-batch consistency, so scientists concentrate on discovery instead of on uncertainty about what is in the vial.

Sourcing to publishing

How a compound reaches your bench

Five stages, each with a documented output. There is no team page here because the credibility claim is not about who we are — it is about what gets checked, by whom, and whether you can read the result.

  1. 01Sourcing

    Synthesis partner qualification

Manufacturing partners are qualified on documentation before price. We ask for the synthesis route, the purification method, and the analytical data for three consecutive batches — not a single flattering certificate. Partners who cannot produce batch-to-batch consistency records do not get a purchase order, regardless of unit cost.

  2. 02Intake

    Incoming verification

Every incoming batch is sampled and sent for independent identity and purity confirmation before it is accepted into inventory. Supplier data is treated as a claim to be checked, not a result to be republished. A batch that disagrees with its accompanying paperwork is rejected and the partner is asked to explain the discrepancy.

  3. 03Filling

    Fill, seal and label

Material is filled into Type I borosilicate vials under nitrogen overlay, stoppered with siliconised butyl closures and crimp-sealed. Fill weights are checked gravimetrically across the run rather than at the start. Each vial is labelled with the lot code that will resolve to its published certificate.

  4. 04Release

    Six-check release panel

Identity, appearance, purity, net content, multi-vial conformity and endotoxin — run by an independent US laboratory, on vials pulled from the finished lot rather than on retained raw material. Nothing ships on internal data alone.

  5. 05Publishing

    Certificate publication

The certificate goes live against the lot number before the lot is listed for sale, and stays published after the lot sells out. A purity figure cited in a write-up years from now remains verifiable at the same URL.

The release panel

Six checks on every lot

Where a compound needs a technique outside this panel — ICP-MS copper stoichiometry, GC-FID solvent assay, capsule content uniformity — the certificate names the extra method and reports its result separately.

  1. Step 1

    Identity by LC-MS

Every lot is confirmed against its expected mass before anything else runs. Modifications that matter — cyclisation, acetylation, fatty-acid linkers, disulfide bridges — are verified individually rather than inferred from the intact mass.

  2. Step 2

    Appearance

Visual inspection of the lyophilized cake against a written standard. Colour, cake integrity, collapse and residual moisture are recorded per vial, not per batch.

  3. Step 3

    Purity by HPLC-UV

Reverse-phase separation with the detection wavelength matched to the compound — 214 nm for most peptides, 210 nm for short chains with no chromophore, 254 or 260 nm for the small molecules. Method conditions are printed on the certificate.

  4. Step 4

    Net Content

Actual fill weight measured against label claim and reported as a percentage. A vial labelled 10 mg that contains 8.7 mg is a failed lot regardless of how pure those 8.7 milligrams are.

  5. Step 5

    Multi-Vial Conformity

Six vials per lot for single-component products, eight to ten for blends, capsules and GLP-class compounds. Testing one vial tells you about one vial; conformity testing is what makes a lot statement meaningful.

  6. Step 6

    Endotoxin

Bacterial endotoxin quantified by LAL method and reported in EU/mg against a stated limit. Recorded as not applicable, with the reason given, for solid oral forms and solvents.

What that gives you

Four things we hold to

Premium Quality

Every compound is manufactured by solid-phase synthesis, purified by preparative chromatography, and released only after an independent laboratory confirms identity and purity. Nothing ships on an internal number alone.

Worldwide Delivery

Orders leave our US facility within one business day. Lyophilized material is stable in ambient transit, and every shipment carries protection against loss or damage in the carrier network.

Smooth Process

Lot numbers on the vial resolve to a published certificate in one step. Filters, search and the comparison table are all URL-addressable, so a colleague can open exactly what you were looking at.

Responsive Support

Technical questions reach someone who can read a chromatogram. Ticket portal, account dashboard, live chat and email, staffed Monday to Friday during Central business hours.
