Acceptance

By accessing this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site and do not order. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published on the date your order is placed, and the "last updated" date above reflects the current revision.

Research use affirmation

All products sold by AVYN Research are supplied strictly for laboratory research use. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not manufactured under pharmaceutical good manufacturing practice, and they carry no approval from any regulatory authority for use in or on humans or animals.

By ordering, you affirm that you are a qualified researcher or acting on behalf of a research organisation, that you are at least 21 years of age, and that the material will be used exclusively for in vitro laboratory investigation by individuals competent to handle research chemicals.

You further affirm that you will not resell, relabel, repackage or distribute the material for any human or veterinary application, and that you will not represent it as suitable for such use.

What RUO labelling means

Research use only is not a formality or a disclaimer of convenience. It describes the actual regulatory status of the material: it has not been evaluated for safety or efficacy in humans, has not been through clinical review, and is not held to pharmaceutical manufacturing standards.

Certificates of analysis published on this site report what an independent laboratory measured for a specific lot. They are not a warranty of suitability for any application, and they do not convert research material into a therapeutic product.

Eligibility and jurisdiction restrictions

We do not sell to individuals under 21, and we do not sell into jurisdictions where the sale, import or possession of a given compound is restricted or prohibited. AVYN may decline or cancel any order at its discretion, including where the shipping destination, order pattern or stated purpose raises a compliance concern.

Where a compound is restricted in a particular country or US state, it is your responsibility to know that before ordering. Placing an order is your representation that you may lawfully receive the material at the address given.

Orders, pricing and availability

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable tax unless stated. Quantity tier discounts apply automatically in the cart at the thresholds published on each product page.

We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing and stock accurate, but errors happen. If an item is mispriced or unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you to correct, substitute or cancel, and will refund in full where cancellation is the outcome. An order confirmation is an acknowledgement of receipt, not acceptance, until the order ships.

Comparison pricing displayed for other vendors is informational, aggregated from public sources, and may be out of date. It is not an offer, and AVYN is not affiliated with any listed vendor.

Intellectual property

The site design, original copy, generated illustrations, certificate templates and catalogue structure are the property of AVYN Research. Compound names, sequences, CAS numbers and molecular data are factual information and are not claimed as proprietary. Third-party names appearing in comparison tables are used for identification only.

Disclaimer of warranties

Products are supplied "as is" for research use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AVYN disclaims all warranties other than the express purity commitment published on the Purity Guarantee page, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Statements describing research context on product pages summarise published laboratory literature. They are not claims about outcomes, and nothing on this site is medical, veterinary or scientific advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AVYN Research and its officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, research time or experimental material, arising from the purchase or use of any product.

Our total aggregate liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AVYN Research against claims, damages and costs arising from your use, handling, storage, disposal or onward transfer of any product, including any use outside the research-use terms you affirmed at the point of purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE], and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
